Wide Collar: Full or 1/2 Windsor Knot and no bow ties
Spread Collar: Four in Hand Knot and bow ties
Button Collar: Four in Hand Knot and bow ties
Notes: The wide spread collar exposes more of the necktie so it
requires a larger spread knot to cover that area so only the knot
is exposed thus the large windsor knots work here. The spread
collar and button collar has a smaller area so a four in hand knot
works perfectly because it covers up this area without overcrowding
it. If you choose a button collar always use the buttons if not it
tends to look unfished and sloppy.
